A Photo Is Worth A Thousand Laughs

I was going through some photos from a photo shoot Nathan and I did with his stallion Nobles Top Gun for promotional purposes. It was a gorgeous day and we ended up goofing around and it just happened to get caught on film. I think there are only a few who will really understand why I think these photos are funny.

These first two make me laugh because Nathan was screwing around pretending to be a halter trainer and Top Gun was looking at him like he was crazy.

And I don't know if this last one is particularly funny, but I really like it.

Tuesday Tune

So I have to admit that I do not always listen to everyone's Tuesday Tune and this is my first one ever but I couldn't pass up sharing this little ringer. I randomly heard it on the radio this morning as I was driving to a meeting this morning.

When it comes to music I feel that I have very eclectic taste in music. For example, today I couldn't get the main soundtrack from Forrest Gump out of my head. But that is for another day. I hope you enjoy this one.

Christmas Time

This Christmas we went spent it with Nathan's parents in Malad. It is always so much fun to be there on Christmas morning. And Nathan and I are the reigning pickle champions. Exactly three years ago his mom started hiding a pickle ornament in the tree and who ever finds it gets the pickle prize. Well I won the first two years and Nathan won this year. We make a great team.

I was feeling very much in the Christmas mood this year and we had our own little tree and decorated the house. I always like the pictures of kids in front of the tree. So I did my own version of it.

Nathan got this awesome hat from a client this year and he absolutely loves it. He wore it every where.

Little Dates & Puppy Love

I think part of becoming a Kent it is required to be a fan of the Bar J Wranglers. They are five guys that sing old country western songs and crack jokes the whole time on stage. These guys are amazingly talented with their voices and instruments. They usually are in Jackson Hole, WY with their chuckwagon business and on the off season they go around the country doing concerts. Well the little town of Kuna was graced with their musical talent last night. Nathan and I got to go see them at the High School and then went to dinner at the local mexican restaurant. It was a big night for us. After getting home I went to lay down and my puppy was being the biggest cuddle bug in the world, I love it when he's like that.

Glacier National Park

About a month ago Nathan and I had the pleasure of going to a big horse show in Kalispell, Montana. I have never been to Montana before and I was surprised at how tiny all the towns are. I figured for a city to make it on the map it would be a lot larger, but not even a gas station most of the time.

The good part about the show was getting to spend some time driving through Glacier National Park. My brother and his wife had visited this place about two months prior and I loved all of Jenny's pictures from it so I was really happy when we had the chance. The weather wasn't the greatest but still fun to take a drive. We drove the Road To The Sun drive and I was freaked. This road traveled up the side of the mountain with a huge drop off. I couldn't even take pictures out the window because it was so high up.

If only all horse shows were this fun!!

Gem State

There are a lot of things I would like to write about but alas I don't feel up to that much typing. Our day today was spent at the Gem State Stock Horse Show in Ontario, Oregon. Nathan showed Doc Oaks Remedy, owned by Jacki & Mike Massimino, two of my favorite people. I love horse shows for the shear social aspect of it all. Also, I just got a banging new lens for my camera, a 2.8f 70-200mm. Let's just say, I am in love!!!! Here are my fave's from the day....
